Costs

General costs

Surgical fees vary widely depending on the length and complexity of your procedure. There will also be fees for your hospital stay and anaesthesia.

Dr Ingram and the Form & Function staff are happy to discuss your fees during your consultation and provide advice about whether your procedure will be covered by Medicare or your health fund.

Additional costs

Depending on your procedure, there may be additional costs. For example, liposuction requires you to purchase a compression garment to wear following surgery. Any such costs associated with your procedure will be discussed in full during your consultation. Please ensure you clarify any out-of-pocket expenses prior to your surgery.

Clinic Fee Structure

Our reception staff will inform you of the costs involved with your initial consultation once an appointment has been confirmed. You will be required to pay this fee at the Clinic on the day of your appointment.

Should you require any additional consultations prior to surgery these may also incur a subsequent consultation fee from which you may claim a rebate from Medicare.

Post–operative consultations are arranged in Dr Ingram’s private consulting rooms in both the Mater Private Clinic and Mater Private Redlands and these may also incur a subsequent consultation fee.

For your convenience we do accept MasterCard, Visa or Bankcard, Cash or Cheque as well as EFTPOS. Payment at the time of consultation is required.
